Movement without the move node

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • I`be been playing with firefly and I set up a cube to be moved with the arrow keys using the primitives set position (not using the move node) , everything works just fine, my question is is there any performance reason why I should use the move node and not the position options of a primitive or mesh ?

  • the move node will repeat a move constantly - for example move to 0,0,50 over 20 seconds - whereas the move via node setpos is instant.
