retro game upscale help

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi,
I am working on a game that features retro minigames, but how do I upscale them, so that they aren't so tiny on the screen?
I tried a few things but they didn't work.
If anyone knows how to do this please help me.

    thanks.

  • You could try creating a frame which contains a sub application object and selecting Customizable size and Stretch frame to object size. Then size the sub application object to the size you need and load the frame that contains the minigame. Although this wouldn't upscale it. it will just stretch it.

  • When you click on the name of your project in the Workspace Toolbar (is on the left where you see the frames and stuff), go to properties (which is below the Workspace Toolbar, the computer icon). Now if you scroll down you'll see Options, tick the "Resize display to fill window size" and if you don't want things to look so blurry, tick of Anti-aliasing when resizing.

I would also recommend downloading the Ultimate Fullscreen extension which you can find at the Extension Manager (you'll find it by right-clicking somewhere, Insert Object and clicking on the Manager button on the right).
