Soudn delay in flash exporter

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Is there any way to correct the delay in which the sounds are supposed to be played in the flash exporter?

When I export as a windows.exe app, the sounds are perfectly fine. It's just when I export ANY application to flash, the sounds have a weird delay then when they are played on a windows application. Does anyone know what the cause of this is?

  • It's pretty much ANY mfa I export in flash that has the sound delay.
    But here's one I recently modified/updated.

Exporting something like this in flash also gives the sound delay for me.

If you need more information, all the sounds I've used are in .OGG format. I figured .MP3 would be somewhat more strict (due to legal issues), and WAV format actually produces larger file sizes.

I haven't tested all sound formats, though I sort of like OGG format for whatever reason. But if it IS that format that causes the delay, it could be the format, so I don't know what other format to use. :P

  • flash like mp3, .OGG need to be converted to wav and then packed, like it does in iOS

try using mo3 or directly wav.

also sometime even in windows there is a sound repeated during typing, so the mfa seems not 100% working

  • I figured OGG was the smallest file size.So WAV format is suggested best format then? Or is it how the MFA is created? What do you mean by the MFA seems not 100% working? Is there anything I can do about this for my other MFA games? Or is the "seems not 100% working" an issue with the software itself?

  • Flash Does Not Play OGG, check flash literature for more information about the sound specification allowed Please login to see this link.

at some runs the typing get faster as two sound are triggered instead of one, I have no check your mfa, kind of busy though, only making you a comment about what happened here.
