How do i join the discord thingy? Never heard of it but i just downloaded it.

this redirects to the firefly channel, but there are many which you can switch between in the click converse server.

needless to say discord was toxic as usual and i regretted going back there the minute people found i was reading - seems its more fun to insult people for no reason than make games nowadays - sad sad times.

sorry 2 hear that man chatrooms & comment sections can often b cruel places, its easy for ppl to get carried away & then its too late, the damage is done X)

I agree. I felt like some members there came off as very Anti-CT, if those comments had been posted in this forum they probably would've been banned.
Stay positive though. If we start getting the patches, then we all win, and that's what matters. Firefly can only get better.

Sad thing is that it's been this way for decades
.. in 2002, there was a few problem makers.. 2008 there were more.. 2012 I couldn't bother with most forums anymore as it seemed 50% of users in any forum were just problem makers for no reason.. in 2015, I realized Un_ty's forum moderators had worse attitudes than their younger-kid-users sometimes.. and well... yeah.

My point: a correlation between...more attitude = less skills = lash out.
The kiddies want a big red "make game" button that dispenses cash and praise.

so it seems people are having issues with the way i help people - either my help is too cryptic and people dont understand or my help is too literal and people dont understand or my help is too - ah whatever - people just have issues with me helping them.

seems its more fun to criticize everything i say than to actually go experiment with firefly so for now i'm taking a break while i figure out whether people actually need my support or if people just want to throw insults at someone.

Triadian. Sorry people are giving you a hard time. For me, you have been very helpful when I needed it. Don't let the people get to you. I back you 100%.

There are some trolls. As for me, i truly don't understand your help sometimes, which gets frustrating. The Patrice situation is a different story.

I know how it is, as it's been the same way or decades.
