The cost depends on what you want. If it’s a bug fix than it can range between $5-$30 based on how complicated it is. Game development cost will be based on how large and long it is. I’m $15 an hour, so that’s $150 for 10hrs and most of my games have been made in less time than that. It’s all about size.
Last is payment. When it comes to online commissions, the standard is to send half of the total amount before any work begins and then when the project is complete, send the other half and I’ll send the project file to you. Payment can only be done through Paypal, but if you want to pay another way I'm all ears.
If I am unable to complete what you wanted than of course I’ll refund the first half you sent, but if I’m making you a game that gets canceled after 3 weeks than it will probably be a partial refund.
