How would I detect how many objects are being collided with?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I'm currently working on a level generator, and I need to detect how many blocks an object is colliding with. So for example, if it's colliding with 2 objects on one loop I need to set a counter to "2" and if it's overlapping 4 on the next loop I need to set the counter to "4"

  • I just did an example mfa for someone else that, among other things, did this. See my bottom post here:

By the way, you seem to be using the words "colliding" and "overlapping" interchangeably. My method used overlapping. I assume you mean overlapping (returns true as long as objects are touching) rather than colliding (returns true only upon first contact between two objects)
