HTML5 export - reference error

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi guys! I am trying to preview my game (which works fine If I just simply run it) in a web browser, exported with HTML5. But all I get is a plain purple window (with the size of my game!) and if I open the developer tools in the browser, I get the message: "Uncaught ReferenceError: CExtLoader is not defined" Any ideas what could be the problem? Why wouldn't Fusion defines this reference automatically?

  • Did you upload it to a server? You can't run it directly from the computer.

maybe it's a problem with your host etc..

Lot's of people have been using my ftp for testing, give that a try. if that doesn't work, than either it's your browser, or something with your project.

  • Yes, I experimented, asked a friend to export my sample in flash, I uploaded it, and it worked, but my html5 still doesn't... And I have the latest version of Fusion installed.

If you have installed the HTML5 exporter after installing the latest version of Fusion 2.5, your HTML5 exporter might be outdated. Re-install the latest patch to be sure.
