MMF2 License Question regarding mutiple computers

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

You may use the SOFTWARE on a single computer (you may install the program on several machines provided that it is used simultaneously on a single machine)

Does this mean i can install it on both as long as i only use 1 at a time?

  • You can install the program on multiple machines.

How exactly would you use it on two machines at once? :D

    Yes, it does mean that.

Quotes from Clickteam's Jeff Vance on the issue:

The spirit of the license is only one instance of the software is in use at one time.

So multiple people all using one computer
or one person who owns multiple computers.

The spirit of the license is you can put it on all your personal computers but only one is in use at a time -- or one person is using all 3 at the same time.

So 3 computers with 3 different people all using it at the same time would be a violation.

Its fine to put it on a couple of your own computers.
Laptop and home desktop is fine with us.
