I would add a test if the amount of coins the player has is greater or equal to the cost of the item in the event. This should resolve the issue.
How make a test ? Can you show me an exemple please ? 
In the buy event, you will need to add another condition that says "is coins greater or equal to cost". We can't give you step by step instructions because we don't know how you store the money values, but you can use "compare two general values". Also, this goes in the Fusion forum, not Developer Services.
