Help! Sort layer dont working perfect :-(

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • The layer object will sort ascending or descending Y positions. You need to set up your hotspots so that when the player hotspot is above or below another object's hotspot in Y it will sort properly. This is what makes isometric engines so tricky.

You also need to make sure your collision doesn't allow the player to walk in places that look strange. I have done a modification to your file and you can see that your choice of angle is not ideal. You would need to make the collision stop the player from walking behind the front left corner. Another option is to split the objects into left and right halves. But no matter what you do, you need to make the height of your player shorter that the walls they can walk in front of.

  • i test all before i first post, i have 100 test make und nothing working. i replace all hotspots and no working perfekt. .(
