Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi Group,

Wanted to create a Pseudo 3D driving game for a while now but my Maths is not the best, I came up with this solution which has no trigganometry involved. I've created the scrolling road via having the road pieces always look at the centre behind the car.

So far I have scaling working pretty well, ramps are in too but struggling currently with how I am going to actually make a track with all these things.

Anyway below is a few screenshots.

  • Thanks for kind comments, a worked on this a little more last night and I now have traffic on the track. One major flaw I have found is that in order for the track to become straight again after a left corner it has to bend back to the left which makes the creation of a looping traffic pretty much impossible. The engine I've done would be perfectly suited to a Spyhunter esque game and that's what I am hoping to do with it by making the sequel to this.

  • I've wanted to make something like outrun for years but converting the math to fusion was too much for me to get my head around. However I did find this recently which sparked my interest again.

He also links the MFA in the description.

You may find some of it useful for your engine.

  • Hi Danworth,

Thank you for that, I found that video too. I took a look at the MFA and simply couldn't follow it as none of it made sense to me. I will release my base MFA for everyone which in my opinion would be a good match for making something like outrun. It has 2 left turns and 2 right which of course can be altered by the speed of the sensor. I have created a jump but can't get hills to work.
