Looking for a team

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Clickteam.
  • Hey guys, my name is Jeremy but call me OmegaElser and I'm a Clickteam Fusion developer. I'm looking for a team to develop a cool game ! :)

The game I would do is a colorful top down shooter where you fight against incoming terrorists shooting at you. It will be a bunch of weapons and different types of ennemies like snipers, kamikazes, assaults etc...

Actually, I made a kind of prototype with actually bad graphics and many bugs just to have an actual preview to visualize how the game will be. But the prototype took me an entire month to develop alone and that is at this moment that I realized I needed a team.

This won't be a small game, I'd like the game to be as complete as possible and try to, as much as we can, add new weapons, new arenas, fix bugs (and maybe add a multiplayer coop mode with Lacewing!).

Actually, I am looking for, like 2 Clickteam programmers so we can be more efficient, also some pixel artists to create character sprites and backdrops and the animations of the characters, a concept artist to draw some arts for wallpapers and teasers etc...,we also need a sound designer for weapons soundes and some prototype testers! The salary will be 0.00$.
Of course, work at your rhythm and do not feel oppressed by the time ! ;)

If you are interested, make me know this in the comments and join my Discord server that I will put down below !

Edited once, last by oaklan5: i didn't well interpretate what i said (August 3, 2017 at 1:44 PM).

  • Maybe the better way to do it in this case would be to post the file and ask for help correcting bugs etc. As for gfx, well you can buy them if needed, or you may get lucky and some kind soul on here will help you with the design (or even have some you could use).

  • He's just looking for potential team members, no need to attack him guys lol

??? I was not attacking him, I was just saying that in this case it may be better for him to get help by posting the file etc etc. I would never attack someone who was looking for help for a project :)

  • I think he might have been referring to this:

So you're looking for some people to make the game for you? Why?

  • I wasn't planning to acknowledge this bc I do not feel I said anything out of line or attacking anyone. I stand by my point. People make these posts all the time and I wonder what they are thinking. Ok you feel you suck at this or that, but you didn't say you were actually good at anything either. No mention of even having a unique story idea or game mechanic. If you're genuinely looking to work with some one or a team of people like the OP, why not show what you can actually bring to the table? Don't say im bad at everything, someone please fix all my crappy work and ill be the boss of you and take credit which is the impression given whether intentional or not. Maybe someone does like your art and its better than what they can do so they would want to team up with you? You'll never know bc you didn't show any of that. The great thing about game dev is there's always people at all skill levels who might be willing to actually work as a team if you show you bring something to the table. Try this approach instead.

Amen to this! I can very much relate to this.

  • this is not going the way i wanted, i just wanted people to team up to create a cool game. looks like clickteam forum isn't a good place to find teammates, i'm going somewhere else (i re-edited the thread, looks like i have badly formulated the question...)

  • lol. perfect expression XD

& oaklan5 try not to take anything personally. a lot of ppl will hav their own projects taking up all their spare time, but sum may also be in a similar situation as urself & want 2 callob so stay optimistic & keep searching.

but yeah, any examples of wat u hav done already wud help ur cause.

    good luck dude :)
