HTML5 Fusion and Gamedistribution.com (Problem)

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello

I recently visited this website (Gamedistribution.com) to upload games in HTML5

The problem is that games made with Fusion do not work there

In theory only with entering the code api in the index should work

Please login to see this link.

Does anyone know why it does not work? Maybe I do something wrong?

    I attach an image

Please login to see this link.

failed to load resource - status of 404 not found

Another way would be to create an extension for this purpose...
It would be nice if someone who knows how to create extensions can do it
To make it more comfortable that copy the code in the index

Although it should work with just putting the script code in the index, in other tools it works, and I do not know why it does not work in Fusion :(

It would be nice to find a solution, so that Fusion users can use this service

    Thanks in advance ;)

  • Up!!

    nobody knows?

Has anyone tried uploading an HTML5 game on this website?

Does this mean that the files generated by the Fusion HTML 5 exporter are limited and are not perfectly compatible? :o

  • Have you tried enabling the "Resize display to fit window size" setting in Fusion?

  • Maybe their server is configured to filter out files with unknown extensions, and return a 404 error is that case. This is called MIME type filtering. You would have to contact their support to make sure of this.

You have mentioned that with other tools there is no problem. Could you please check if the HTML5 apps generated by these other tools contain files with uncommon extensions?

  • Yes other tools generate known files

    .html .png .json .js .appcache

What would be the solution then?

Talk to the owners of the website? Or that Fusion could generate known files? :(

  • Well, I'll talk to Gamedistribution

But if they do not want to, we have a problem :(

It would be nice if there was some option to generate known files in Fusion 2.5, I hope Fusion 3 does not have these problems,

Because this is a bit uncomfortable having to go asking the webs to accept files, and if they say no, we have no choice :(

We need to think about the importance that you are taking HTML5, and the important thing to be able to distribute the games without problems, like the rest of platforms

    Thank you

  • BTW first, try uploading the file somewhere else and see if it does load.

If it doesn't, maybe update the code to read the cch and cc1 files from a different location.

I do not understand what you are saying, If you mean to change the name to the folders I already did and it does not help, it just does not accept those files

    ---------------------------------------------------

Gamedistribution tells me that they do not support those extensions for now, and that has been requested with the technical team

  • I mean, upload the cch and cc1 files somewhere else, and then update the code to point to the new location.

  • Modifying the index.html?

    this script?

    It's a bit cumbersome :(

Ideally it would not generate unknown files, only known files that work on all sites

    .js .json etc
