Build 290.4 - Release version

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Some objects have qualifiers on that push the player up so they act like horizontal doors the player can't pass through. Two of these objects the player fell threw them whereas before this hasn't happened. I only noticed this because I changed some other things and built my installer with the new patch. When playtesting I found this happening all of a sudden when it never happened before. All the qualifier does it change Y pos to the player's Y pos plus or minus depending whether or not the door is on the floor or on the ceiling.

    Other things that suddenly stopped working:

    1. Launched objects failing to destroy when hitting an object if the player moves out of the area (but still in the same frame).

    2. Object set to launch another object (a laser bolt in this case) when an animation frame equals a certain number not triggering (i.e not shooting), but just for one particular object whereas all others with the exact same code were fine.

    3. Sound effect of an object colliding with the background continues even after destroying the object.

    I've just spent two hours fixing these bugs - and they only just started after creating my new installer after updating Fusion 2.5 to the latest build.
    Only 1 and 3 I could replicate in the editor during a test. 2 wouldn't repeat and neither would the problem with the doors but I added a big fix anyway - if the player is somehow able to pass through the door I've set another object to trigger another Y pos command to push the player up above the door.

    I don't know why I've had to fix any of this because it was all working fine yesterday and what I thought was my last playtest before release! All I wanted to do was test a few new shortcuts I added in some of the rooms, instead I find a whole new heap of problems that were not there before and believe me I've playtested the sh*t out of this.

  • You did register Multimedia Fusion 2 in the Community passport. However you need to register Clickteam Fusion 2.5 to gain access to 2.5 related betas. They are classed as different products with different serial keys.

  • Clickfusiom is available for mac! Wow! I downloaded the free version. I want to buy Pro, is it possible to do it through steam? I'm from Russia
    I visited steam and see the icon only for Windows(

    And I'm also interested in whether it's possible to make the same application notes in ClickFusion as in the iOS "Note"?

    Probably it will be for the build 291 only, the build 290 is closed unless last minute issue. We'll release the build 291 as beta asap (not before the beginning of December though). In the meantime, after installing the build 290 you have to install any beta update you got from him (and that is not mentioned in the change log).

    Any update on b291? CF2.5 keeps asking me to update on start up but I keep denying it because of the Android fixes I need from the private update. Just asking because it has been almost 2 months since this was stated.

    Il subsiste un léger problème avec le fix

    La double boîte de sélection affiche par défaut dans le champ de saisie la dernière recherche effectuée en général. Par défaut, ceci sélectionne, dans les deux boîtes, l'objet précédemment recherché, qui n'a souvent rien à voir avec les 2 objets sélectionnés dans la condition.
    En conséquence, si on a besoin d'éditer la condition pour ne changer qu'1 seul des 2 éléments, il faudra quand même re-sélectionner le second au risque de voir un objet non désiré sélectionné par défaut. C'est un peu chaotique à l'usage.

    Il faudrait que l'ouverture de la double boîte de sélection affiche par défaut les objets actuellement sélectionnés dans la condition.

    Le fix ne fonctionne correctement que si l'on a besoin de changer les 2 objets (ce qui n'arrive presque jamais, autant repasser par l'insertion d'une condition de test de collision), ou quand la précédente recherche englobe par chance dans ses résultats l'objet qui ne doit pas être changé.

    (Je poste ce message aussi dans le bug tracker au cas-où) :)

  • Ca fait plusieurs mois qu'on ne reçois plus de mise à jour de fusion 2.5 .. jai envoyé des rapports de bugs sans recevoir des nouvels de la part de clikteam.... Est-ce que le produit fusion 2.5 est discontinuer pour être remplacé par la version 3 ?

    Clickteam continue à supporter Fusion 2.5. Il y a toujours des corrections de bugs ainsi que l'ajout de nouvelles fonctionalités. La dernière version officielle est la version 290.4.
