Google Cloud Storage extension ($10)

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

It's cloud storage on Google, more suitable for business, multi-user stuff than Google Drive.

There's no cap on the amount of logins on a user, simultaneous uploads, downloads, no bandwidth cap, etc. It's a pay-per-use model, instead of a "buy 30GB, pay for 30GB even if you only use 10GB" model. Both bandwidth and file storage are charged, with rates as low as 0.007$/GB/month. That's 100GB a month for only 0.70$. The full pricing is Please login to see this link..
There's a Please login to see this link. you can join as well; with $300 credit, 12-month part and an Please login to see this link..

As you have no limit on amount of logins per user, you could use a cloud login for a Fusion program and send it to as many clients as you want; they could all be uploading and downloading to the same bucket (i.e. folder) and Google's cloud will handle it all invisibly without any fuss.

You can also use it like Please login to see this link.. So you could also use it as one of those free sites for file upload/download.

The transfers are encrypted, as are the content on the cloud. Google itself doesn't try to read the content of the data you upload. One of my clients is using it to store video footage from security cameras indefinitely.
All the scaling from a few users to a few thousand, to having data physically near countries with common downloads, is handled by Google. Google also provides Please login to see this link. for you to check the state of affairs, outside of Fusion.

  • Hey folks,

I just wanted to say that Phi has now provided an updated version of this software which he says has removed the need for the external runtime library, which may have prevented some users from running it previously in Fusion 2.5 Standard. These updated files are of course available on the ClickStore.

    Thanks :)

  • So this can be used to save players' progress on the cloud? (for mobile)

It's not ported to mobile yet, although it might later be ported to Android.

And no, for small storage it doesn't suit. You could try using Get Object with some PHP pages if it's small data storage. Google Play Games set might also offer some small cloud storage, although it's been taken off ClickStore until Clickteam fixes it.

Think of Google Cloud Storage more as file storage when you have a lot of data to store - a bunch of files, like you would put on Google Drive. The person I made it for produces camera management software, so he has a lot of large video files to store.
