Alien Scumbags - Fusion Wars Gamejam

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Quick update with some new features coming in the next update

    More sound effects
    Touched up some of the old graphics from the gamejam version
    New music track added
    Parallax added making the levels look miles better
    Upgrades system for the primary weapon
    Rampage power up
    Light made larger to show more of the level
    Reload mechanic making fighting aliens more tense

    I decided to try and push the Survival Horror angle a little more, added dust particles in the levels to make them more eerie as well as more set pieces as you go through the level, slowed the player movement making it more deadly to run in shooting.

  • We are still pushing the game towards the Survival Horror Genre, adding 7 layers of depth to each level now, we even have a layer just for space for when you walk past any windows.

    Anyway thought I'd share a new enemy type with you.

  • New update

    Started finishing up the levels we have so far, added some new tiling to try and give a more Sci-fi spaceship feel.
    Some other new improvements are physics objects which you can use to your advantage to take out more enemies.

  • Working on making all objects physics objects and getting level 2 all polished ready for what will likely be the final update before submitting to Steam.

  • The next update is finally here, I have done work on pretty much everything, animations, sfx, graphic effects, level design, screen effects and making the world physics based too.

    I hope you will try it as would love to hear your thoughts.

  • Had a go at remaking the Face Hugger as it had such a small amount of pixels and it ended up looking more like a mouse.
    Really happy with the new if somewhat huge version of the Facehugger I have now.

    Looks a bit more freaky which I what I was going for.

  • Mask selection nearly done, going with a collectable card game look.
    the screen scrolls to show more and currently we have 9 different masks with individual perks.

  • back again for another mini update, nearly finished the whole collecting cards system, certainly worth the extra work and makes the game have some extra longevity.
    The below pic is of the Gachapon (capsule machine) you shoot it and a little animation starts and a capsule pops out, collect the capsule and you have a new mask, ammo, health or can of Waz.

    The capsule machine isn't always good though, sometimes it drops an alien egg so beware.
