How do I Position actives of different widths side by side? please!

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi all you Blessed folks! How are you all? Happy 2018!
    on a screen of 1366x768,
Say I have over 100 static actives on the screen. Each with different lengths and variable heights...
it would take a very long time for me to manually tell each active to be next to each other, calculating each their width...
How do I position them side by side (without overlapping) at once?
My actives already belong to a group, so
I tried the "obvious" like this:
upon pressing "Q" position "Group.Good" at (retrieve position from Group.Good at their right edge)
    but that did not work
Their vertical position works fine, since I just ask them to be at a given position vertically and they all obey. They have their
hot spots on their feet, but their horizontal alignment...
Maybe I should change their action point to their side on each of the 100 actives and then maybe ask for the Group to position themselves
to their right side of the Group's action point?
I also tried if Group is overlapping Group then activate group "move" them to the right and placed a "if not overlapping" deactivate group move! but they seemed to move forever and not stop
I just wanted to align them on runtime next to each other, like asking people to position themselves next to each other as in a line! ;)
    Thank you in advance!
