Android and Airplane Mode

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I have a couple questions about the Android exporter.

    1. Is there a way to test to see if the phone is in Airplane mode? I have checked the Android objects and haven't found any type of conditional feature that would allow me to check for this.

    2. Using a Fusion 2.5 Android object, is there a way to put the phone in Airplane mode? I have not found this feature in any of the Android objects, unless I'm overlooking something.

    Some device settings defined by Settings.System are now read-only. If your app attempts to write changes to settings defined in Settings.System that have moved to Settings.Global, the write operation will silently fail when running on Android 4.2 and higher.

    =================================

    Settings.Global

    Global system settings, containing preferences that always apply identically to all defined users. Applications can read these but are not allowed to write; like the "Secure" settings, these are for preferences that the user must explicitly modify through the system UI or specialized APIs for those values.
