Font appears blurry on browsers

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello,

Not sure if I'm going to get a reply here, seems super quiet!
Anyway, I'm looking to achieve a crisp dialogue. Everything works just fine in Fusion 2.5, but when I build and run, I get the blurry font. (please, click to view bigger)

I've tried both AA and without AA. Hopefully, there's just something simple I'm missing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Jesse

  • Not 100% the same, for example in Firefox it's slightly crisper than in Chrome, but still blurred.

  • Maybe altering the text-rendering css attribute on the compiled app pages can help?

Huh interesting idea, not sure altering that would alter the text in-game, though? I'll see if I can figure out how to give it a try.
    Thanks btw! :P

  • I'll have to check my self. but if I remember correctly when built in HTML5 you can alter the compiled application settings by editing the package files manually.

I tried altering the index.html file style, but that had no effect.
Maybe we need to alter runtime.js file it generates? :O

I'd really appreciate help with this, so if you've time to check it out that'd be great. :)

  • Yes, String object, and I've tried both with AA and without AA. Mmm, I bet I'm missing something as I can't find any other threads about the same problem.

  • Yes, Windows 10, but surely there must be a way to avoid blurry text on HTML5. :)
