hardware requirements for firefly

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello ,
I've searched the forum , but I haven't found what the minimum hardware requirements are for firefly apps to run.
They're not stated on the clickstore page , and I didn't find them in the documentation.

I have just test a firefly app ( fusioncraft ) on my laptop with core I5 gen 3 and intel hd 4000 , and it was too laggy.
( it ran fine on my desktop , hence my supporting message on the forum from a few days ago ;)

On the other hand , the simple examples offered with the firefly plugin ran ok.

I suspect it's an issue with the low vram on my laptop , but knowing about the hardware requirements would be a plus.
    Thanks !

  • as with most things the bigger the better, but minimum is a tough one becuase most things depends on whats going on in the background which of course is upto the programmer in the events, so to use firefly the minimum would match fusions

but each program can and will raise those depending on what its doing.
