Stretchy Neck Tutorial Vid

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • It's a nice tutorial, but there was something I noticed. The neck pieces sort of have a "lag" issue if you know what I mean. If I make the head piece moveable by the mouse, the neck objects don't exactly follow as smoothly as controlling the head. It's more noticeable if you move the head really slowly. Though I am unsure if it's fixable due to the script. Maybe it has something to do with the fact the neck objects aren't positioned on float values, but instead absolute values? Just my guess.

Otherwise, it seems fine as just an attack sequence. Though I set the FPS to 10 temporarily for my curiosity, and still noticed a a bit of lag between the head movement, and the neck pieces. Still, pretty good tutorial. :)

That is correct. When you swap to floats this issue should go away. This entire example is a well-known trick so I don't know why he opted to not use floats in the example.
