How can make an anti glide walking?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

    For a platformer game, detectors move 1 pixel for left and right. My problem is for walking character. When the character steps on the ground I want stick to ground for some frames as detectors moved character 1 pixel to front. How can fix this problem? I tried change hotspots too but result was not good.

  • Easy enough.

    Player is holding right arrow
    + Frame of player object = x (x would be the frame in which you want the player to move)
    - Move player Right

    You might have to duplicate the line for every frame in which you want the player to move. Keep in mind that the player will continue to move during the entirety of said frame. IE: If your animation frame lasts 4 frames and your movement rate is 1 pixel per frame, your character will end up moving 4 pixels during that frame.
