Help with ladders please!

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    I'm trying to do a very very simple platform game with ladders but cannot get ladders to work properly (either don't work at all, the player 'snaps' to the wrong one or goes down too far when coming down and sinks into the platform)

    I've found 2-3 tutorials on youtube but none of them really worked for me.

    I've been working on this five days now and I still only have my player moving left-right. can someone please help before I get too frustrated with the hardness of this software?

    I am unsure what tutorials you are using so dont know if this will have the same issues (Only did a quick test)

    *Note - The ladders are 1 pixel higher than the platforms so the active player object can find them when on top of the platform.
