Build 292.7 - Release version

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

    The build 292.7 is available in the Product Owners Lounge forum if you use the stand-alone version (and on Steam).

    In case of problem you can reinstall any other version (no need to uninstall first, just reinstall the patch of the build you want to reinstall).

    PS: the CF 2.5 patch updates all the installed exporters, as well as the 2.5+ DLC, you do not need to reinstall them.

  • I think you said renaming of qualifiers with F2 has been added, but you maybe forgot to add it to the changelog?

  • I can't get the latest admob (version 7.42.2) to compile in Xcode in my fusion project. is the latest version of fusion not yet compatible with the latest admob?...or am I just installing it wrong? lol. it's a bit confusing as they hav added more frameworks & stuff & I'm not sure how to get it working :o

  • latest test made was using 7.39.0, they change some libraries you have to check when building against error (normal with version)

    Changes in AdMOb iOS are sometimes every 10 days, not easy to keep updated to last version.

    you might need to give users a tutorial when you finally update to admob version 7.42.2 as some users (like me) might struggle to implement the Xcode steps lol.

  • I found a bug in 292.5 (haven't updated to 292.6 yet) where if i click on an object in the event editor to see all the events using this object, the first event line of a group will be displayed even if it Doesn't contain any interaction with the selected object.

  • [MENTION=11451]Dobermann[/MENTION] - that's not happening by me - but I have updated to 292.6. I did note that Fusion will now include the lines where the object is in the create event - no idea if that's new or I just never noticed it before.

    As per change log:

    - Run Application: apps that contain global events are no longer marked as modified when you run them from the editor.

    This is now working correctly, thank you.


    - Android runtime: INI object couldn't write empty files.

    I'm not sure what you're referring to, but there is no change from 292.5 - what worked there for me, still works, what didn't work there for me, still doesn't work.

  • Can someone confirm or disconfirm that with exported Android apps, the property in Android options to 'End application when not in foreground' does not seem to have any effect?

    I don't know in which version it stopped working (for me at least).

  • I can confirm that it has no effect on my Huawei. The application won't end if it's not in the foreground - regardless of whether that button is ticked or not.

    However, it works the way I want it to work, so I'm okay with that.

    Some time back it was ending the application, regardless of whether that button was ticked or not, and I don't know what fixed it - the Fusion update or a Huawei update.

    There is no event in the first line, and it's child event doesn't contain anything related to the group I've selected. See the problem? It's happening with every objects and it's really annoying.

    Weird. I recreated a similar event in my MFA (group>empty start of frame>child event with unrelated stuff), but I'm not getting this problem. I'm also on 292.5

  • I understand that as that particular frame, where the box isn't ticked, won't be included at all. Except that if you have any background or assets on that frame - it is included. You can try it - include a large picture on a frame - tick that box - and watch the size of your .exe or .apk increase by the size of that large picture or background - delete the background and the size of the build size goes does again.
