touch works different after update

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    I've got a big problem with touch on the screen after last update. It was a big update, with AdMod, GPG and all other extensions.
    After that touch works different.
    Currently first tap is in different place then my finger and do not release! After release finger, touch isn't release and still keep touch on the screen.
    I can tap next time, but because first touch isnt release I can do nothing.
    Touch is the most important thing in my app and I've got now idea how to change my whole code.

    Have You got any ideas what is the reason?
    I thought it could be touch extension, but I use it in different project and there nothing changed.
    The difference is that in trouble-project I'm using a lot of global events including touch
    Could it be a reason?
    Application update?
    I didn't change any single line in game frame, I just recompile project with little change in different frame

    Last working copy, recompiled in new clickteam also do not work!

    I think it could be hard to reproduce, because there is a lot of complicated behawiors. In fact all game engine was affected by this issue. However I can send You 2 apk files build from the same project copy, to show You a difference. This is copy from december but it's no matter, I didn't make changes in game core.
    If apk will be not enought I will try to separate this lines but it will be very hard

    I analize it today and I think it could happend because event order was changed. But I'm not sure, maybe I'm wrong.

  • I don't know what changes have been made, I just took the previous version. Now that you confirm the changes are the reason of your problem we'll try to see what could be wrong and we'll fix it in the next update.

    Good luck, I'm not sure but I scared it could not be easy to find :(
    I've got other game, where I'm using touch extension, and there are no changes. In fact here touch is much more complicated, but in second game I'm also use multiple touch, and touch&keep and there is everything OK.
    But it is only 12 kbytes extension, and I've hope with not many changes

    Ok, I uploaded touch_export.mfa (via attachment manager), there You've got all touch events, I just copy&paste filtered lines from parcel frame and from global events.

    Not same vertical line, the block appear exactly in the place where You touched before.
    Lets try this way:
    1. open the frame, on the beggining you see how to play information
    2. to hide this info click somwhere on the bottom left, named it Point A
    3. after that tap again on the top of screen, for example in touch screen (Point B)
    package shound appear in Point B, where is Your finger currently, but it appear in Point A (previous touch)

    By the way, You may remove Ads by entering CLCKTM code in share option (from main menu) :) it make Your tests faster and easier
    It is for 7 days by default but I may change it to longer if You tell me a time when You enter the code (I'm sending to my server only encrypted data, so I can not do that by nick, ID or nothing else)

    Maybe because I'm hiding keyboard, title bar and navigation bar on always event :P
    I had a problem with bars and keybord visibility and it was a solution
    I know it isnt good method but only that works :D

  • Mm i will check your mfa but this is not correct using this hide bars (someone give a wrong help here) is not good since afect perfomance.

    abou the only difference notice yesterday is the way you open the menu at the right bottom, and seems more an order of events i will check and let you know

  • damn, I found one more bug, it is also in previous multi touch version
    I make an event:
    a new touch on object hest started
    or
    touch is active on an object
    every xx miliseconds
    and if this object is a button, then application close immediately after tap

    But I've got good news: it happens if pressed picture is empty (100% )
