Is it possible to have some follow up for Guides, Tutorials, Examples ,Widgets forum?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I understand that this is the way the forum is working for long time now but It is little stressful for me to wait to see if my article has been accepted.

All day updating the forum to see if it wil get in like a maniac lol.

Couldn't be somehting like follow-up? I don't even know if all went good amd my post has been received.

  • Could someone from the admins, at least, tell me if my post in Guides, Tutorials, Examples ,Widgets forum is received? I don't know if I have to rewrite it and re-post it...

  • Olivier, mo problem, I understand. I would just be more relaxed if I at least had an automated response after submiting a post. Not that the article was of such importance, I am just ancious, that's all.

  • Olivier, if you could, check the tutorials, example, widget section. It's been severa days since I posted something and it hasn't yet appeared. If there is a problem with it could please give me some feedback? Thank you in advance.

  • I've approved it for you.

Moderation was enabled for Tutorials/Widgets/Examples because for some reason, people were posting Fusion 2.5 tech support threads in there. Baffling.

    Apologies for the delay.

  • Danny, could you please update again? I have added a new post and also a small video showing my recent post's result.

I am sorry for mentioning you but I don't know who I should contact.

  • I like a lot the recent forum post feature, however, it seems that for Guides, Tutorials, Examples, Widgets, we don't see the latest posts.

I guess it has to do with the approval from a moderator...

Would it be possible to mark the posts as NEW, after the approval? So that we can see it as new post?

  • ProdigyX , Danny , could someone please update a post I made in widgets, examples, blah blah?

Could you please also discuss with the team the possibility to get New Post in the Home screen of the Forum after you approve a post?

It is a very good way to receive traffic in the post.

Now, if I want to make people know about my post, I need to mention it in a post of a different topic somewhere in the Forum(which in my opinion seems like spam).

I am really surprised no one mentioned this before...

  • Sorry for the delay. Your latest post on that thread should be active and viewable by everyone. In the future, try DM'ing me when you need assistance. That should send me an email notification and I will see it right away.

Thank you ProdigyX. But how about the new post notification? For example now my post:

Is not shown in the new posts of the forums home screen.

How people are supposed to know that it even exists? They have to dig in the forum or search for something specific... This will not bring any reasonable traffic to the post and it will not help much many people.

  • From the looks of it, it the post is not in the "New Posts" section simply because there was too long of a delay between the post creation and the moderation approval. Fortunately, since that forum is a relatively unused one, the post will consistently be among the recent threads.
