Feel trigger to get the 2.5+ addon upon reading the comments here. I really need a dedicated 2d engine that is lighter by default.<3
Build 292.22 - Release version
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

OK thanks! This will be fixed in the next update. I attach a temporay fix in the meantime, to unzip to data/runtime/html5.
Sweet! No, THANK YOU. -
In case this is fixable:
I've noticed that Fusion saves slow down as it remains open...
It will start at about 23 seconds to save a 16 876 kb file - and ends up at close to 2 minutes to save as the day goes on - and every time I'm just changing one or two values. The .tmp file is created almost immediately the green bar will move up to a point - then it hangs, says Fusion is unresponsive in Task Manager, stays in that state for a while - and then finishes the task in seconds.
This has to do with the number of frames. It happens to a game with 125 frames. It does not happen to other games with fewer frames even though they're 3x bigger.

I've finally discovered why bookmarks have often seemed occasionally glitchy to me over the past few years. Until now, I could never put my finger on it. It's the combination of 2 separate bugs (or 1 bug and 1 feature)
BUG 1: If you click to select one or more events that reside inside a group, and then Close all groups via hotkey or menu item, the event(s) remain selected, even though they are now hidden and inaccessible (manually open the group back up and you'll see them selected).
BEHAVIOUR 2: (don't know if it's a bug or feature): Selected events get ignored when you hit F11 to cycle through all bookmarks.
The combination of the two above behaviours results in the following glitch that has been bugging me for years:
RESULTING GLITCH:
-create a new bookmark (by selecting an event and hitting ctrl-F11)
-say to yourself "ok, now I've bookmarked the event I want, time to clean up this mess of open groups everywhere", and close all groups
-Hit F11 repeatedly to cycle through all available bookmarks
-Scratch your head and say to yourself 'Where the hell's that bookmark that I just created? It's not coming up!'
...........it doesn't come up because it's still selected (bug 1), and selected events are ignored by F11 (behaviour 2)If I may comment on something: this type of issue seems to be a recurring one with Fusion: when features are implemented, they frequently seem to be properly tested only using mouse controls, while hotkeys and menu items are very often neglected or untested. This is the case with the last issue I reported a few pages back (workspace toolbar incorrectly updating when frame is changed using hotkey/menu). It's also evident in how there was no way in reaching Global events via hotkey/menu for many years, until 2.5+. And it's also evident in how many of the new features that came with 2.5+ still aren't integrated fully into the menu/hotkeys, so we have no way of customising how we access them (eg. Find All, Insert New Parent Event)

I selected fonts in the font packer for Android:
Please login to see this attachment. But some of them for some reason are not packed into the game itself during assembly:
Please login to see this attachment. Why? :o
(Why my past message/reply was removed?)

Not sure why it was deleted, but anyway your post is out of topic. This thread is about the build 292.22. Please post your questions about Android objecs in the Android forum, in separate threads, thanks.

No, not at all. The issue you mention is not a shortcut issue, it happens when you change the frame with the mouse (in the top toolbar, when you click the prev/next editor buttons, etc).
QuoteIt's also evident in how there was no way in reaching Global events via hotkey/menu for many years, until 2.5+.
The shortcut was added in the build 286.6, as the same time as the new command
:
Quote- Global event editor: a new command has been added to the View menu, you no longer need to click the button in the properties of the application to open it. Note: its keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+H, but it won't work unless you either reset the keyboard shortcuts in the toolbar settings (or set it manually), or uninstall and reinstall Fusion.
QuoteAnd it's also evident in how many of the new features that came with 2.5+ still aren't integrated fully into the menu/hotkeys, so we have no way of customising how we access them (eg. Find All, Insert New Parent Event)
This one is specific to 2.5+, Find All is dynamically added to the menu via the plugin and I couldn't find a way to add it to the toolbar customization dialog box. I'll check the UI documentation again.

Oh.. exactly, im sorry.
But maybe the problem is related with updates? The fact is that they could be packaged in older versions -
So I've reinstalled Fusion 2.5+ and all, using the 292.22 and it is giving me this message + a crash/close when I try the FIND ALL feature of 2.5+
Please login to see this attachment.
Any idea why?

Plus it the Steam version seems OK..

Did you install the 292.22 patch after installing the 2.5+ DLC? (the patch must be installed after everything)

Oh.. exactly, im sorry.
But maybe the problem is related with updates? The fact is that they could be packaged in older versionsHmm, there is no change in the Font Packer object in this build. The latest change was in the build 292.11:
Quote- Android / Font Packer Object: fix in Font properties for font names that contain non-ANSI characters. If you use such fonts, please update the font properties in the object before rebuilding your application.
Did you update the font properties in the object before rebuilding the app? ("update the font properties" probably means you have to re-edit all the fonts)

I can't reproduce this, selected events don't seem to be ignored. Could you upload a MFA?
Sorry, I should have mentioned that this is all in the Event List Editor. I see now that Bug 1 occurs in both EE and ELE, but Behaviour 2 occurs only in ELE (which I guess confirms that it's a bug and not a feature)
QuoteNo, not at all. The issue you mention is not a shortcut issue, it happens when you change the frame with the mouse (in the top toolbar, when you click the prev/next editor buttons, etc).
To me it seems that the menu, top-toolbars and hotkeys are linked. When you change the hotkey for Previous Frame or Next Frame, this new hotkey is automatically displayed on the menu, and on the top-toolbar button's tooltip. This leads me to believe that the menu, top-toolbar, and hotkeys all essentially control the same command. And this command seems separate and unrelated to the 'normal' method of double-clicking a frame in the Workspace Toolbar. I was referring to this dichotomy between (a)menu/top-toolbar/hotkey commands, and (b) 'normal' interactions that involve clicking inside the main UI areas. Yes, it was inaccurate and misleading of me to refer to these 'normal' interactions as being mouse interactions.
QuoteThe shortcut was added in the build 286.6, as the same time as the new command
I stand corrected! Though 286.6 came out in 2016, which means that the Global Events were still unreachable via hotkey/menu for a number of years [before 2016], which was my basic point.
QuoteThis one is specific to 2.5+, Find All is dynamically added to the menu via the plugin and I couldn't find a way to add it to the toolbar customization dialog box. I'll check the UI documentation again.
Another item that is missing a customisable hotkey (this doesn't personally bother me, but just adding it as I thought of it) is the Ctrl-T hotkey to switch between EE and ELE.
-
It seems that the flags of the strings do not work with interactions with other strings. My example:
Code
Display More* User left click - String [INDENT]String: Toggle Flag[/INDENT] * String: Flag is on + The action will fire once when the event repeats [INDENT]Weapon Group: Change animation to 1 [B](it works)[/B] Weapon Group: Show paragraph Global Value A + 2 [B](it does not works)[/B][/INDENT] * String: Flag is off + The action will fire once when the event repeats [INDENT]Weapon Group: Change animation to 0 [B](it works)[/B] Weapon Group: Show paragraph Global Value A[B](it does not works)[/B][/INDENT]
Events are in the behavior of the string, but it doesn't seem to matter

Hello,
I think I isolated a "bug" involving copy/paste shortcut.
Please login to see this attachment. Here's the plot :
We have 2 actives, each one has a quite simple behaviour.Active_A (orange) has a collision event in its behaviour - with Collider (green).
Regular_A (blue) has a behaviour too, with an always event to set whatever alterable value. If you copy/paste "Active_A" using keyboard shortcut, you get an "Active_A 2" object.
When you do the same with "Regular_A" you get another "Regular_A" object.("Duplicate object" from right-click menu works as intended though, thanks god)
It's very tricky because you end up with a keyboard shortcut doing 2 different things... it's quite messy imho
-
Hi Windlake, I opened your sample and my copy/paste keyboard works as intended. Ctrl C and Ctrl V produce a duplicate for both orange and blue.
Edit: However Im using an oplder version 2.5 build 291.6. So it must be a bug in 292.22

Thanks for testing
Tested the file again and the bug's still there
It's probably a bug on recent build as you said.
And i'm using the 2.5+ DLC too. -
"Anti-aliased when resizing" option does not effect to .ccn run by the sub-application. Anti-alias state of the ccn depends on setting of the ccn.
Could you changable that by the parent application?

[MENTION=5114]Yves[/MENTION]: Just wanted to report that Fusion‘s PC runtime does not handle punctuation in Cyrillic script correctly. Punctuation does not stay attached to the corresponding words and thus tends to jump isolated on line breaks. This is essentially harmful as the Russian language seemingly uses a lot of commas. Nicholas told me on Discord the issue already got fixed for the console runtimes, would be great if you could include that for PC too. Any Russian translation is a pain to handle without the fix.
