Hi, I've just been starting for a few weeks now using CTF 2.5,
I was just wondering how the Platform Movement Object was intended. With the parameters that are given in its settings I can't seem to create certain kinds of jumping. I had for example the trouble creating a the tiny and huge jump functionality in a good way (like for example Mario has in Super Mario Bros) that changes depending on how long you're holding the jump button.
So I was wondering, was PMO meant for just a starting point, that just needs to be expanded upon where ever the need is? Or would that be asking for trouble in the end because of the extra processes that'll be required on top of it?
Or would it in this case actually be worth the effort to create your own 'PMO'-like mechanics to get the specific desired control and performance here?
