9 Slices Object - New extension

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Thanks for your comments, suggestions etc.
    See you !

  • Nice! This looks really promising. I might switch out my current approach for this. :)

Do you think it would be possible to add a few Actions like:

    Replace image <X> with <Y>
X being one of the Image Bank frames and Y an external file or an animation frame from an active object. This is especially handy when making customizable components.

Set Integral Dimensions to <Value> (0 is Disabled 1 is Enabled)
This is sometimes helpful/cleaner when feeding data to the object. I guess this would work pretty much the same as your listed "Set Display Mode" action.

I am also curious on what image sizes this supports. Can I use other than 32x32 for the different tiles?

  • Thanks, the first version is awaiting for validation on Clickstore.
Replace image is on my TODO list :)
I want to add an option with only 1 image tileset (with tile size option)

You can add images with different sizes but you need to have same height for each row and same width for each cols (if not the object show holes).

  • Congrats on release!

I hope to play around with this really soon - However I am not sure if this is just specific to my workstation but Fusion crashes(The standard "The program has stopped responding..." pop-up) right after I finish editing the image bank. Any idea of what it could be?

  • I can't really put this object to use if there is no version for Mac. BUT I have bought it as incentive for such good work and effort. Hope it sells many licenses and hope you get the help needed to por it to MAC. Merci!

  • So, based on Yves response about the SDK does it means there is no way to actually make extension compatible with Mac? I assume then that all extensions converted to this runtime were made by Clickteam staff then,..

    Two little issues:
    1. Object created by events is invisible if too far from visible area.
    2. Object located at a wrong position, whether enabled "Always center hotspot" or not.
Please check the following mfa :

Also, it would helps a lot if you could add expressions to return object's height or width, as you can change these values during runtime.

    :D
