Error while compiling .aab

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello. I was about to compile my game in .aab format for the first time for publishing on Google Play. However, I got a weird compilation error. I tried a lot of things, but the error never changed.

    Build R292.28
Build API: 30 (no effect if changed to 29)
Minimum Android version: 4.3 (no effect if changed to 5.0)
    Target Android version: 10.0
    Release mode activated
My Keystore and the build file are at C:\

I gave my mfa file to a friend to try to compile it on his computer and he didn’t have any compilation errors, the application compiled. After that I thought there was a problem with Android Studio on my computer and the Android SDK in it, but reinstalling it didn't change anything. Reinstalling CTF didn't help either.

    Here is my error log:

  • I just know that inserting the android plus object gives me an error while building the app. I have installed the latest v200 package and the version is 292.27. I don't think it is convenient to use the gpg 101 version, it could have problems

  • I'm having a similar issue, but I'm not using android plus... I think my problem is with the Google play object because if I remove it I can compile without issues. I tried installing version 101 to see if that solve the problem but I still get the error.

I know I might be missing something, but any suggestions of what could it be?

Using latest Steam Dev version 2.5+
    Google Play Object 200a

Here is the code error I'm getting:

  • janpier , I was missing versions 16 & 17, I installed them but no luck, I still get the error.

Fernando , But what could it be? I tried installing different versions of the Google Play Obj, I just reinstalled the latest v200a, I checked for Fusion updates on Steam but I'm running the latest version. Android Studio and SDK are also up to date. I'm using Java 8, should I upgrade to version 13?

  • no java 13 for now, latest android studio and gradle will use java 11 but not now.

can you send me by PM a link to download the GPG installer for me to check here.

also are you using latest version 292.29, right?

and of course using API 29-30 to build

    Regards,

    Fernando Vivolo

... new things are coming ...

  • Fernando , I'm unable to send you a PM, the button doesn't show. I download it directly from the Clickstore, I have installed version 200a, but I also tried the version that says 200gradlesupport, and the one that says 200gradesupportlibs

and yes version 292.29 Dev+ (Steam), I tried with both 29 and 30 API, same error. I also tried reinstalling the GPO with my antivirus off but no luck

If I remove the GPObjects from my frame, I can compile without issues, so it has to be related to the GPO

  • yesterday I also had the error concerning the NDK reappeared. I changed file path and I got the error message telling me to try installing an NDK package, after installing it I managed to install the game on the phone. Please login to see this attachment.

  • I tried installing every single NDK package, even the obsolete one but I still get the error, my SDK path looks exactly the same as yours. I can compile without issues if I remove the Google Play Object, so I'm guessing that it is related to that.
