Instant crash using GPC Login

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I've used the Google Play Connector successfully in the past. However, my latest app keeps crashing when I attempt to login. It doesnt matter if it's auto default or UI box, the moment I make the call for action the app crashes.

I am not sure if I setup the new GPC correctly.
    I am running GPC 2.0
    Exporting for target version 10.0
I have entered my application id code from Google.
I used the key store app v1.2 - it's not the one in Android Studio - is this a problem?
On Google, my game has a Client Id, Fingerprint, using OAuth 2
    My publishing status is Published
However, I do get a notice from google that I need to take developer action and Comply with domain verification requirements. Which I dont understand. I did submit a https website today...not sure if it's related. App seems to sign in fine with Apple. Which I used to being the problem child... guess it's Android this time.

    Ideas? Suggestions?

    Thank you!
    Kevin

  • Extra information are you using APK, or aab?

if aab, what signing process you use when uploading.

I am getting the same crash with the aab format I submitted to Google. But I am also getting the crash with the apk I use for my device testing.

    ---------------

I have a new messages from Google. Perhaps it's the issue. However, I feel that this is probably unrelated to the crashing.
On the Developer Console, in Game Services, I have the following step they say remains Incomplete. However, I don't see how I am supposed to install a manifest per their instructions:
Add the Play Games Services SDK to your production APK to use the APIs (link for info)
Please login to see this link.

  • what version of fusion are you using? and what GPG version have you installed?

    =====================================

Did you try the example but changing the AppID, packagename and of course signing with your certificate.

... new things are coming ...

  • I found the issues occurs with no code. Simply inserting the Achievements module will trigger an instant crash when it's present on the level.
