Joypad 2 Object - Xbox 360/One Controller - Sync With MMF not working

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • I´ve been fooling around with different joypads and my fake SNES usb joypad works great with CLICKTEAM MOVEMENTS.
    My Xbox One Controller does not work any longer.
    Meaning: When i use a simple active object and add 8 direction movement - i can controll it easily without any line of code
    with my FAKE SNES CONTROLLER but i can not use the clickteam movement with my Xbox Joypad.
    I would have to write additional code lines to move up down left right.
    Anything I am missing here? Thank you!

  • UPDATE / EDIT
    I found out that (maybe only on some machines) my xbox one controller gets located as joystick 2!!! (joystick of player 2). So I guess there must be a workaround for this. I will keep you guys updated.

  • As far as I know, there is no workaround for that specific issue. If you use events to move your object, you could set a value to LastActiveJoystick( "Joystick 2 object" ) one time and use that value whenever you need to specify which joystick is being used.
