I recently purchased the ANDROID TTS object at the Clickstore and with minimal effort. Got it working.
( OPINIONS BELOW )
However, compared to the TTS object for windows. It's a bit more complicated then it needs to be.
The set text function shouldn't read the text. A Speak Text should be added like the Windows TTS Object.
The sliders in the demo, do not work when building an ANDROID APP now. There is an Error during compile.
The Help File does not load any help files.
The " MY TEXT " portion of the app does nothing, so why have it? Only time it speaks is if you SET TEXT. Also, the " Is able to speak " does nothing on my device. I had to put " timer equal .30 MS/ Run this event once" to get it to speak.
I am just wondering why the Windows Version wasn't duplicated to the Android Version, for everyone whom has been using the Windows Version and are use to how it works in code?
Still an awesome addition to Android, nonetheless. Thanks in advance.
