Sending SMTP Email Help

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    I've been trying to use the Email object to send a .jpg file as an attachment in an application I am writting for my office. The examples would connect but never send and my frustrations grew. I then came here and see all the previous problems people have had with this Email object over the years. I guess it doesn't work with current SSL technology is my understanding. Is there any way around this other than the non SSL google server (which doesn't appear to send either) to accomplish emailing a .jpg file?
