Build 294.9 - Release candidate

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

    This version is on Steam too. As usual if you want to install this beta version you need to suscribe to betas in the properties of Fusion 2.5 in the Steam client, using the code provided in the Please login to see this link. thread in the Steam forum.

    This build is a release candidate, i.e. if no specific important issue is reported this will be the official version of the build 294.

    General notes about build 294:

    - Please login to see this link. that highlights the new features of the build 294.

    - some changes affect the content of MFA files so make backup copies of your MFA files before loading them with this version.

    - MFA files are still compatible with previous builds (though if you load and re-save them with a previous version, you'll lose value order, included frame index, etc).

    - there is a known issue in the Transition Setup dialog box, parameter controls do not use the current skin, not sure if this one will be fixed.

    If any question or issue specific to this build, please post it here, thanks!

    In case of problem you can reinstall any other version (no need to uninstall first, just reinstall the patch of the build you want to reinstall).

    PS: the CF 2.5 patch updates all the installed exporters, as well as the 2.5+ DLC, you do not need to reinstall them.

  • Hi Yves, I haven't written here for many years, but I still have my best mobile games developed in F2.5, I thank you very much for the effort of this new version 294 and I send greetings to you and to all the community that I see that are still here . By the way RC 294.9 is not published yet

    It's still in Beta, though it's release candidate (as said above) the recent betas has become increasingly more and more stable, and as of this build I still didn't experience any bugs specific to it, nor major ones in general

  • I really think it should be increased a bit.


    Perhaps a new "Use smaller elements in Animation Editor" checkbox in Preferences? or a way to resize the side border by dragging, and as you increase the size it would increase the elements size as well? (But this seems a bit hard to add, especially because the tools would need to be repositioned to the center)

    Anyways, I think this might be late to add into Fusion now, especially if it's the resize by dragging method, (or maybe not, only Yves knows) but yeah they are very small, I'm personally still not all too comfortable using them, but I guess it's just a matter of getting used to the smaller size

    And btw increasing the font size does help (Windows scaling too)

  • Since a recent update, the X field is automatically selected when you do Create Object. It only happens if you create the object in Frame events though - if you do it from Global events, the X field is still unselected. Is it possible to add the feature to global events?

  • in the current update it is now impossible to add a frame to the animation, it is simply not displayed in the game, only importing the full character graphics from the folder at once helps

    What do you mean? I can import animations normally in the Animation Editor as I always done before, and they do function the same too on runtime, basically all animation related A/C/E's work as they always have been (as intended)

    I can add a new animation frame just fine via the context menu

  • We can't rename qualifiers anymore and the New Frame button is now enabled for some reason?

    I can still rename qualifiers, I go to Events tab in application properties, click Edit on Qualifiers, and just triple click the name of it.

    And why would New Frame would be disabled?

    Triple clicking (or a single click then waiting after it's already selected) still works, but right clicking to rename doesn't do anything, and pressing F2 to rename zooms in the sprite instead
