Latest ADVERTISING ID from Google. How to add the Line to Manifest?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Well, Google is at it again.

    Now I get a message about adding a Line to the Manifest file.
    Anyone know how to do this as I assumed everything for the Manifest was done by fusion?

    <uses-permission android:name="com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID"/>

    ^ That is the lin they want added.

    Here is the link to the information.

    Now here me out on this. I do not have Advertisements and I made sure when uploading our latest app to declare there was none and yet I still got an error saying that any apps targeting Android 13 or above must have this Declaration or else those users will not be able to see the app on Google Play store.

    Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

  • We still not targeting android 13

    Additionally, when apps update their target to Android 13 or above will need to declare a Google Play services normal permission in the manifest file

    will be available for next beta after this release candidate
