Create object does not work

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • guten tag,
i'm coming here to ask that if anyone has been having problems with the create object at an object, and really its making me very mad atm.
i'm not sure if its just me or somethings just wrong.

im at a loss, it hasent worked with other games ive tried to make, and its still not working.

EDIT: this is what im basically trying to do for more context, im willing to give out the build if anybody wishes to take a deeper look.

  • 2 Things could be the problem.

    1. The layering order is causing it to spawn behind the purple active or on a different layer that's in the background. After creating the object, put an action that says bring to front. Also see if the number of objects in the debugger is going up to be sure that it's being made in the first place.

    2. The hotspot on the purple active is not in the center or generally around it.

  • If there's no events that destroy the created object, then it might be a good idea to check the debugger as well to see if the number of objects increases when it gets created. You might also want to check the 'number of objects' property under the frame properties and change it if it's reaching the limit

  • I changed the purple active to a background, and still nothing is happening, i am at my wits end.
i tried to make it where it switches to a diffrent sequence when clicked and its so prominent on staying on the same sequence.
