Can't open/view http:// web pages using Web View Object v2.3a (Android)

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I'm looking for a solution to be able to view http:// web pages using the Web View Object v2.3a for android

Only allowed to view certified web pages https://

Is there a way of using Fusion 2.5 Developer to get access to a http:// page?

Reason for this feature: I would like to have an audio stream on in the background, all audio streams I find are all rooted by a http:// not a https://

I had a Please login to see this link. where I could only access pages with https:// and not Please login to see this link. It seems that non-Windows versions of the WebView2 Object (or at least the Mac and Android versions) don't support HTTP requests. I don't know if this is going to be added or is even being considered, but it might be worth requesting in the Please login to see this link..

  • Android has a domain list you have to request explicitly for HTTP. Add a Get Object and put the domain in the properties.

Do note that you can get HTTPS certificates for free from places like Please login to see this link..
