QR Code Scan in Windows WebCam

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi!
Is there a way to scan a QR-Code within Windows Fusion App with Web-Cam?

An extension or a way with webview within windows app?

Thanks for your suggestions and tipps!

None that I know of for Windows, but I have messed with this before using WEBVIEW 2 and creating a webpage with the code.
I no longer have the webpage up but you could use this page as a starting point to test with.

  • Thanks, Webview doesnt support JS.

I've found a way by using the extension OPEN CAPTURE :)

Attached you can find an example if you have a similar problem:

(May you need to set the camera source to "-1" (btw, -1 wont worked on my laptop, thats why i used "source:1")

  • i havent looked in such a long time, and not at my pc; but if activeX object is still working OK in F2.5+, use the activeX - QR scan object.

you can install the active X QR scan OCX here: Please login to see this link.
using the activeX obect - you can insert a QR code in your fusion program.

the camera objects avail could be used via IOS and Android.

another thread also has some info: Please login to see this link.
looking around the web, you can find plenty of Webcam OCX to use, but you'll end up having to pay for them.
