FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

There is a hidden rule in technical communities, you should try your best to solve it before asking, and post what you have done.

  • defisym - that's not really helpful. Most of the info on the internet doesn't apply to us because we're not coding the commands, just using them. If we press compile and it doesn't compile - it's normally a setup problem our side, or on occasion something the programmers need to fix.

wuxuechen - If you're pointing to the JRE directory in Android Studio, you could try to download and install Java 11 directly and point to it instead. Else show a screenshot of your properties, and a list of your extensions, so Fernando can help you.

A question only with an error log, without steps to reproduce, without info about environment, without mfa or gradle project, and without what he has done to solve it, then the only thing you can do is search the error info and post several links as you can't reproduce it on your PC, we are all random guessing.
And don't be afraid of CLI, it just several commands to list the ports, and kill process using it. Something similar is reboot as one of them mentioned. But for fusion you can't know which port it's using as the entire build routine is hidden, so I suggest to copy the gradle project (Fusion won't delete it if you didn't click buttons in the error pop-up), and try building it in Android studio, which you must have installed, to get the detailed error info.

  • Although Clickteam wants to make building with the Android exporter an easy process, it relies on internet access to get all the required libraries and for this, it requires good access to it. Without it, Gradle cannot continue with the normal flow of the process.

The link posted are the ones to follow to solve this. Ports are sometimes closed due to firewall rules or antivirus.

Seems to be an internet issue.
You know, GFW have blocked google since 2009, maybe you can purchase a VPN or use mirror source, but IDK if fusion’s build routine follows the config file in user folder.

  • Are you working behind a firewall and/or server?

China mainland has a firewall called 'Please login to see this link.l' to filter websites in blacklist, including google, YouTube, twitter, Facebook, steam community, etc, and some websites are DNS cache polluted, like GitHub, steam store. There are also rumors that GFW will work in whitelist mode in the future.
So, it's something common to use Tsinghua or Aliyun mirror source, or purchase a VPN (illegal, but usually okay). Or Gradle sync will never complete...

This error is very short and lack of information.

When this happens after you update android studio?

Did you try to restart your PC?

    Do you have a VPN?

  • Please don't say that there is no VPN or similar, it's not related to them. I have conducted two example tests, some extensions are OK, and some errors!!!!Please login to see this attachment. Please login to see this attachment. Please login to see this attachment. Please login to see this attachment.

I can't even load these MFA since i don't have all those extensions.

Your test must be conducted with Extension from Clickteam.
