Possible Shader bug in Mac exporter build

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello, I'm wondering if this is a bug or I'm just doing something incorrect.

I'm working on a game project that has actives that enable and disable use the FlipX shader to represent facing left and right. This works well enough on Windows, however when I export to a Mac application zip, the effect does not happen.

Similarly (not sure if related) but I use 'Set RGB coefficient' action to signify damage (setting it to GetRGB(255, 0, 0) then setting it back to GetRGB(255, 255, 255) every 2 seconds) In the Mac build when the the action is triggered the active becomes invisible. This does not correct when the action should set it back to GetRGB(255, 255, 255).

Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac to work with so I depend on someone else to test. They sent me this video of the bug (start at 4:03 to see Flip X not working, 5:00 to see 'Set RGB coefficient' make active invisible):

    Can anyone assist?

tested in a basic MFA and flip Horizontally seems OK, not sure what is FlipX though

    * User clicks with left button on Active
Active 2 : Set effect to "Flip Horizontally"

    * User clicks with left button on Active 3
    Active 2 : Set RGB coefficient to GetRGB(255, 0, 0)

Yes by FlipX I meant Flip horizontal,

Thanks for sending me this test Fernando. I built this and sent it to my tester and the same issue happens even in with this test file.
I uploaded the screen capture he sent me: Please login to see this link.

The Flip for Active2 never happens no matter how many clicks on Active, and if he clicks Active3 enough Active2 disappears.

The one thing I noticed is in the .mfa you sent me, you had the export set to MAC XCode Project, and the export I used is the MAC Application export.
I don't have a MacOS machine I can use to compile an XCode project. Perhaps that is the culprit? Is there a workaround?

  • Ah thank you! Ok I got 295.5 for Developer. I exported a new build of the basic_FlipH_test and it doesn't look like it can be opened. Attached is the screenshot of the error below:

Seems to be working to others, please check that update is correctly done (check dates from file at data/runtime/MAC). Fix was made and will be available in next beta.
