Does the Flash exporter still exist?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi LeChuck, it's not available anymore, and for good reason. Adobe no longer supports SWF, AKA -Flash Player. It reached its end of life on 31 December 2020 and has since blocked Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning 12 January 2021. It’s not worth creating SWF files anymore, because no one will trust them and being unsupported they're now a huge security risk. Besides, no one can host SWF files anymore. HTML 5 is the replacement - Please login to see this link.

  • BTW Ruffle looks like a neat work around. However, I'm afraid that unless Flash returns as an exporter that can be purchased you're out of luck. I've searched everywhere, and it's not for sale. Maybe you could contact the Clickteam directly with your request? Best of luck, I hope you find a solution.
