Fullscreen stretch or fit to screen option?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I am trying to make a setting in my game where I could allow the option to either have the application screen stretched in fullscreen or to fit to screen (black bars essentially). Unfortunately don't know how to do that, I don't see any conditions where that could happen during a runtime.

Does anyone know anyway to do it? Simple or not, I'll take it.

  • Look into Ultimate Fullscreen object, and also consider NaitorStudios ' variant of it, which has some new features - although it may not be released yet.

  • If you're making the game for Windows - you can use the extension Window Control. You can determine the user's screen width and height and resize the game to fit those dimensions.

Otherwise start the game in window mode and allow users the option to switch to full screen (it's built into Fusion).
