And i'd just like to say that no, i won't join that. i will just wait till you open the store again, and if you won't then well you're basically just screwing your own extension developers out of making money.
I'm starting to think they keep the store closed as long as they can so they hope we will join the "Reactor" patreon.
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I don't think it would really make any sense for them to do that. Paying for just a single month on their Patreon gets you the ability to download almost every "free for Patreon members" item they've ever posted to their Patreon. That's a single payment of $15.00 for almost everything. It would add up to more money for them if you purchased everything individually on Clickstore. If you were to purchase everything in *just* the 'Extensions' section of the Clickstore, that would add up to hundreds of dollars (based on listed prices from Wayback Machine archived pages). If what they're doing is some kind of scheme, I think it would be losing them money.
The Patreon is just a way for people to financially help Clickteam out if they want to. Last I heard the Clickstore is being completely remade due to being hacked or something.

So you figure that they've purposely cut off a revenue stream that involved hundreds of people purchasing things every week, in the hope that eventually two or three of them might join the patreon. Interesting theory.

I definately don't agree with this theory. I think that we should instead support Clickteam for such a wonderful piece of software, and just be patient.
My two cents.

I hope to see a new and improved Clickstore. I cant help but feel it's tied to the website and Fusion 3 and that it'll all rollout out at the same time. That's my hope anyway. I also hope our developer community grows again and we have tons of extensions and tools we can buy.

Well its been 17 years that its closed now, rest assured i'm expecting A LOT from that new store. I'll be sorely disappointed if it isn't popping from my screen like a hologram like in Star Wars or something.

And we'd better be able to buy Half Life 3 on it.

fine, its been 24 years. i was trying to give them some slack.

i'm expecting matrix type stuff at this point, where we can just jack in to that store and do cool stuff on it.
in all seriousness though: isn't this a terrible look for a website thats selling a programming language? i don't even remember how long its been under construction, but this is ridiculous. maybe they can ask ChatGPT for some help to fix it?
