How do you make an Alex Kidd meets Super Meat Boy like platformer within Clickteam? No scrolling camera, easy to understand etc, it's like torture trying to find tutorials/ templets for me to screw with to make a basic platformer so any advice?

Maybe your question is too general and would be too long to answer
Basically to make a platform game you must use platform movement or use the pmo extension
But I think you should start with the tutorials

Your question is way to specific, to create a platformer movement you can use PMO (Platforme Movement Object) or create a custom one, and there are many resources for each, especially PMO..
I think you may be too new, please go over the written tutorials in Help > Tutorials (No need to check the first Chocobreak tutorial if you already understand the very basics) as they would help you get started with the engine.
