How to save every instance of objects position with the JSON object?

    I'm creating a simple tycoon and all I want to do is save the position of every instance of an object that has been placed, right now I'm looking at using the "JSON" object but if you know a simpler/better way please do share, to clarify all placed objects are simply an instance of the same object named "object_placed". I'm making a post because I cannot find any documentation on the JSON object and frankly am not smart enough to figure it out myself. If you need more info do ask.

    Something like this, maybe? I'm not sure if there's an extension that helps you create JSON, but it's simple enough to do if you understand the format. In this example, it's a simple array of objects containing the X and Y of each Active, like the following:
