Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Before anyone comes to conclusion that this AI in title means AI object that will make the whole game for me, it is not.

FSM AI object is a simple Finite State Machine simulator that can pretty easily solve different AI algorithms. Not by itself, of course, but by you setting a FSM to work as you want it to...

Not to talk indefinitely, i suggest you try this object and see if it has any use for you...

Read .pdf provided in file for details.

    Feedback is highly appreciated...

Why is the object not allowed to be used in commercial projects because of it being a beta?

Because it is questionable whether the full version will be free for commercial use... depends on several factors... Until it is decided I'd rather have things this way...

Feature list in PDF is only preliminary... Many more features are to be included...

I have exams following two weeks so I wont be doing much, but there, after july 5th, I'll continue the work on the object.

What is in this object at the moment was a result of about 8 hours work... so, I think I'll manage to implement and test all the features I want until end of July...

  • I agree that most of it can be done without the extension. The extension only provides a way to do things in a way that avoids remembering stuff and commenting code and whatnot...

However, the full version will have many more capabilities, so it will be a "bit" more powerful...

Besides Sphax said it "seems powerful". and he was right :) It seems... But perhaps only seems to be. He, however couldn't open it.

Now, I after several dilemmas about compiling, can anyone tell me, once and for all, what compiling option should I use so all can open the extension. I don't understand how one MMF can open it and other not, and why my MMF can open it no matter what compile mode i used, but others have problem with that...

MAKEID is changed so that should not be the problem.

I find a help file regarding compiling options a bit confusing...
please reply and i will compile it the "right" way and upload it again.

  • Of course such things can be done in MMF 2, but the key is that this extension makes it easier (or atleast I think it does).

Now you should make a Neural Network extension ;) .

    Waiting in the shadows...

    New version.

Sphax, please tell me if you can load it now.

Please login to see this link.

just to add some new info about full version:

will be able to simulate mealey and moore's automatons...
will be able to save the list of performed transitions (so you can analyze what was happening with the machine) :: you will be able to give each state, input and transition its unique description so when saving it to a file, it can write down the report like a story :) like: "I am standing up. I am hit. I am hurt. I am taking medkit. I am healed. I am OK." etc...

Will put up new info on Please login to see this link.

  • No, i didn't use any external libraries... it's written in plain C++, with no external support...

Maybe it conflicts with some other extension?!? I can try and change its MAKEID if you'd like to try.

I am using Visual Studio .NET (2003)...

but I do however get this error when compiling in modes with _small suffix.

Template error PRJ0019: A tool returned an error code: "Performing Post-Build Event..."

It compiles OK, file is there, but always this error.

and lots of warnings in following format:

Template warning LNK4229: invalid directive '/opt:nowin98' encountered; ignored
Template warning LNK4229: invalid directive '/RELEASE' encountered; ignored

but, the file gets compiled. However, if I didn't use external libraries, how come some people can open it, and some can't?

Now you should make a Neural Network extension ;\) .

Hehe... someday maybe, as my study goes in the way of AI and neural networks... especially data recognition...

although, I am totally green at the moment, so this won't happen any time soon :/

  • I can't seem to download this object from the links, does anybody happen to have it?

My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD

  • Excuse me.. But What is really the purpose of that extension? (I'm lost)

    Hey I'm French, Hi!

  • It's for making AI (probably good AI) for your games, based on the name, and that's why I'd like to have it.
