[Beta2] Sphax VectorialLine

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • New beta release.

A lot of optimizations and bugs have been corrected :
    - Extension has been renamed to "Sphax VectorialLine" to not let you think that's the same object as the old one for TGF1 (DrawLine) ;)
    - Fine collision detection was doing on the old line state
    - Fine collision calculation has been optimized if the option has been deactivated
    - Line artifacts was left on the frame
    - Optimizations for the display functions
    - New expressions added (getXPoint, getYPoint, getLineSize)
    - New submenus for futures transformations are available but are not activated for the moment
    - Old example has been updated to let you see fineCollision detection
    - New example to create a vectorial analogical clock

Some properties and expressions will be added in the next release.

Please try this extension and say all features you want for it. :)

  • Very, very impressive, Sphax!

We really needed this one to come around. It is so important and it is about time. Tons of uses! I will look it over more for bugs and see if there are any suggestions to make.

    Thanks!

  • The first none graphical nice use I see for this object could be for a line of sight calculation (with fine collision detection). ;)
I hope somebody will try it (maybe the use of Vectorial line when invisible is buggued)... :D

  • Could we get a way to clear any line drawn?

If I have two AO's and one draws a line to another, and then I destroy that second AO, the line remains, even if the event to draw it is no longer true.

I realize that I could set a new position for the line, etc., but for the sake of readability in my events, "clear line", "erase line" or whatever term you use for the action would be best.

  • Could we get a way to clear any line drawn?
    > Lines are vectorial objects not draws. ;)
So if you want to clear them, you should destroy the object or set it invisible.
You should not set "always: draw line" but configure you should configure your object one time (each time you want it to change). :)
I'll maybe add an action to reset settings to default (0,0)

when you select any of the transforms,
