[Beta3] Sphax VectorialShape

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Too bad about the pattern, but they are still good for static situations then.

    Oh, how did the demo go at the convention? Did you show them the current objects? I was wondering what those attending thought about them.

  • I've showed them the VectorialShape with the texture fill. I've added points at the start and the end of line, changed the tension, turned the shape, ... :)
    I think this extension has created a good reaction in the audience. :)

  • The fird thing is not a bug. It's only that the gradient is not defined correctly in the event editor. ;)

    The second glitch is a well known glitch and appears randomly only because the draw style is a dash one. I don't know actually how I can correct it but I'll investigate. :)

  • I just played around with this extension, and I'm impressed! I loved the examples - in particular the solar system and selection ones. There are many kinds of games this extension could come in handy for. Though the first thing that came to mind for me when I played the selection example, is that this extension would make it much easier to create a game similar to Trauma Center.

    As for the actual drawing tools in the 'Vectorial Shape example', I really like what I've seen, and I haven't discovered any bugs so far, but I've only had a quick play-around. I'll try and create a new application that uses VectorialShape later. :)

  • Ive not had a look at the object yet (sorry), but one question, is it possible to do vector based speech bubbles?

    Im using bitmaps (active object) and resizing them is really rubbish. Ive tried using the speech bubble object and its just a right royal pain to make a simple bubble.

    So is it possible to make a speech bubble vector? If not dont worry, just wondering :D
