Features/Updates Wanted

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi,
The Object that needs updated: "Quiz Object"
The Function that needs updated: Needs to be compatible with Android Export Module.
    Priority: High

Use: I would like to use the "Quiz Object" on android to generate tests needed for my application. Without it, it is very difficult to make tests quickly and effectively.

    Thanks!

  • Hi!, Appsareawesome. This thread is very old.

There is a suggestion and bug tracking system for Clickteam Products. Please use this link: Please login to see this link. and post your suggestion. Your suggestion will be assigned to the right person.

  • For fusion 2.5, I am wondering if there is (and if not can there be) a method to make a composite active object?A method by which, say for a sprite, you could select all objects necessary for the sprite (collision blocks, shadow, etc) and combine them all into one super active which would work based on the behaviors implemented into each singular active. Also is there an error detector? When you have an error in a project somewhere, trial and error deleting and shifting etc can be arduous. Is there a way (I don't know much about the debugger so if that helps with such things can somebody lemme know how) to identify a specific problem in the code. I'm getting a lot of lag working on a project and I can't understand why. There's nowhere near enough active objects to cause a meltdown or on occasion, the runtime to just load a white frozen window.

I make Odd cartoons, talk shows and hopefully in the future, some decent games ;)

  • Wanted: Better XM / MOD player
    Platforms: All
    Priority: AAA+
    Reason: Currently you can't:

    * Playback sounds as game samples. Say you have your samples loaded into the mod instead of loaded from separate sample files. All you need to do is to perform:
+ Play instrument 31 01 C4 000. These numbers represents: Channel, instrument, note, and effect.

    * Jump between patterns from within the program. Say you gained an extra life, instead of having these two songs separately, you have all songs for one level in one file. Just like Pinball Fantassy had.

    * Play pattern loops. Again say you've collected the invincibility object, and you're about to speed off with it. Main music is a loop from pattern 1 - 8, Invincibility object is between 9 and 12. With out pattern loops you'll play pattern 1 - 12 in one go.

    * XM / MOD player doesn't loop songs properly. Instead of playing the songs directly from the start, there is a stop to let the last instruments play to the end. What if the instrument is using looped Envelopes?

    * Synchronize game with music. So you have that boss that fires that mighty laser canons against you. As well as some target seeking missiles. With objectives such as:

    + Is instrument nn playing?
    + Is pattern nn playing?
+ Is effect command n performed?

You can really create dificult bosses that is really impressive really easily. So say we have a boss having this design. Let's see how we can get this performance done:

    * Is instrument Bassdrum playing?
    + Fire laser canons

    * Is instrument Snaredrum playing?
    + Fire laser rifles
+ Set missile lock on player's current position

    * Is the instrument "String staccato" playing?
    + Fire seeker missiles

    * Is effect "w" performed with the value 01?
    + Boss raises shield

    * Is effect "z" performed with the value 01?
+ The boss goes into hiding...

Games are all about impression. And currently XM / MOD files takes away a very huge chunk ot that impression the way they are being played. I mean how many games would score top scores if the music wasn't playing seamlessly. I know that you can get OGG to do the work, however MOD / XM files are often much smaller since they just contain 1 copy of the samples used, and the rest is data.

Take a look at Please login to see this link. and Please login to see this link..

  • Would it be possible to get an extension that reads audio levels on a channel? What I want to do is have 2 versions of a music file, one with simple beat markers and one the full music, and have an active object react to the simple beat making it seem like its reacting to the full music on a different channel. Let me know if this makes sense!

  • A conversion of the current Spriter object to play nicely with Direct3D11 would be very appreciated.

Priority: High (At least for the current game I'm working on).
Characters currently go invisible if you flip them to the opposite side.

It's Please login to see this link., so maybe you could get a developer to fix it, probably for monies.

  • Honestly, I'd like to see Fusion 3.0 stick to 2D environments. Basically competing with the Unreal engine for a piece of the 3D environment gamming world is going to be monumental to say the least.
However taking the love we have for 2D and adding built in PARALAXING into the editor would be fantastic. Also, getting the collision detection more spot on would be amazing. Lighting and COLOR control via normal standards, would be cool too!

    PARALAXING:
    I.E. Layer related and controlled.

    COLLISION DETECTION:
No more running through walls when the player changes direction or continues to run when no key is pressed. Sticking in walls,etc... ( Don't get me wrong. I know about adding a second active as a box or circle, depending on the player model but how cool would it be if that was something Fusion already added? )

    LIGHTING:
Basically a built in Brightness contrast feature in the editor for layers. I.E. SUN OBJECT is at Y Position and causes the Brightness level of all objects to dim or brighten.

    COLOR:
Basically have two ways to control the color. Original and HEX values.

Again, I have found various ways around this, but to have it as a simple editor option would be amazing.

Don't let FUSION Die Please! I personally still love it. Although, the latest look of it has kept me from using the BETA Version available. I am sticking with 293.10, until the classic look actually looks like the classic look. X)

    Thanks in advance.
